Andrew Grimes
Andrew Grimes is a musician, producer, composer and recording engineer based in Nhulunbuy, Northern Territory. He is the co-founder of Aris & Grimes, a music and film production company delivering creative services across East Arnhem Land.
Andrew has worked extensively with Yolŋu artists and communities, including as a senior producer at ARDS/Yolŋu Radio from 2015–2019.
He is a founding member of the Andrew Gurruwiwi Band.
Andrew has coordinated Production and Programming for numerous festivals and events in the East Arnhem Region and is key orginiser and founder of East Arnhem Live.
His work spans music production, composition, film production, location sound, and event coordination. Andrew’s compositions and sound design have featured in major film, broadcast, and live performance contexts, including national festivals and the Sydney Opera House
